Engine 86-2 is a 1993 Pierce Dash chasis
with a Detroit 400hp 8V92 turbo charged
motor with an allison transmission. It's
primary role is a rescue pumper for the
City of Hermitage with it's first due
responsibilities in the Patagonia district
(west side) of the city. Some of the
equipment that it carries is:

  • 750 gallons of water
  • 1250gpm waterous pump
  • two 175ft 1/34 preconnects
  • 1000ft of 4inch supply line
  • 1000ft of 2 1/2 inch supply line
  • 1- 150ft trash line
  • full compliment of Hurst rescue tools
  • Air bags
  • Chain saw
  • Bls medical bag(AED equipped)
  • High angle rescue equipment
  • Positive pressure fan
  • 30 gallons of Foam
  • Hydraulic ladder rack
