The current station was built in two separate sections. Recently the foundations for
both sections have settled at a different rate resulting in the newer section settling
at a faster rate. Subsequently cracks have begun to appear in the interior walls
where the two sections meet. With the assistance of Pa State Grant money and a
generous contribution from the City of Hermitage and $15,000 of our own money
the project was started on the 10th of October and completed on the 20th. We
would like to thank Geotech Services Inc. located in Cleveland Ohio for thier
expertise and proffessionalism. And a special thanks to Robert Guthrie, of Station
86, who was the in charge of the building underpinning. A job well done Bob!!
